India Is Getting Picky With FTA

When it came to free trade agreements (FTAs), India had a mixed history. Years of isolation followed by hesitant early steps towards opening up to the outside world left it unprepared to negotiate tough trade agreements. Lessons have been learned, and India is now prepared to interact with the rest of the world on its own terms, as evidenced by the recent FTA-signing spree (with several more on the horizon).
