The WarpMasterPlus, the most recent iteration of Groz-fully Beckert’s automatic drawing-in machine, made its first live on-site appearance in Asia at India ITME in December 2022. Moreover, Groz-Beckert demonstrated its KnotMaster knotting machine.
Groz-Beckert relied on the drawing-in approach, which utilises a single yarn package technology and is widely accepted, for the new WarpMasterPlus. Yet, WarpMasterPlus is not merely an improved version of the earlier models of machines. The system was completely rebuilt from the ground up. According to a press statement from Groz-Beckert, cutting-edge technology were continually applied to produce a machine that is already prepared for future demands regarding more automation under Industry 4.0.

High adaptability and quick setup were other goals. The development’s key points, increase machine productivity, and simultaneously shorten loading and unloading times. A greater number of cycles have been introduced for this reason, along with complex features like pre-setting drop wire magazines and CNC axes for modifying the heald length. Several accessories can drastically cut down on conversion times.

Several guests seized the opportunity to participate in a WarpMasterPlus demonstration at the ITME. The WarpMasterPlus will soon be available for testing in the newly opened showroom in Ichalkaranji, Kolhapur district, Maharashtra state, for anyone who was unable to attend a presentation at ITME. Groz-Beckert provides customised customer machine trials and trainings in addition to other services.

The KnotMaster and other machines from Groz-Weaving Beckert’s Division range can be used for training, trials, and demonstrations at the showroom. Worldwide, tens of thousands of KnotMaster tying machines have been successfully used. The KnotMaster series’ main advantages are thought to be its sophisticated technology and straightforward use for a variety of applications. Rapid warp changes and shorter processing times help customers by enabling a more effective and economical weaving preparation. According to the announcement, the KnotMaster is extremely effective, reaching speeds of up to 600 knots per minute.

The KnotMaster’s clever technical features boost process reproducibility and reliability. For instance, the yarn clamps have a unique clamping technique. Several yarn thicknesses can be clamped with these unique KnotMaster yarn clamps. Differences are automatically corrected for thickness. The KnotMaster ensures the highest level of process dependability thanks to the automated repetition. If the separation unit is unable to choose a yarn on the first try, the control tries again a predetermined number of times. This takes place at the maximum tying speed. The WarpMasterPlus and KnotMaster are the cornerstones of Groz-weaving Beckert’s preparation repertoire and the winning duo for weavers. The machines’ ease of use and high degree of versatility define them.
