The creation of a high-power committee to monitor the execution of the memorandums of understanding (MoUs) inked during the two-day Global Investors’ Summit (GIS), which ended in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, was announced by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. In his closing remarks at the conference, the chief minister stated that the investment proposals showed the confidence that investors had in the state government and its pro-industry policies.
He urged the investors to commence their projects in Andhra Pradesh as soon as possible after the MoU stage. “We guarantee you that our government swiftly facilitates the taking of affairs ahead by your firms,” he continued.
The state administration signed 352 Memorandums of Understanding with an investment during the two-day summit. He stated that there was a commitment of more than 13 lakh crore and a potential for over six lakh (600,000) jobs.
