83rd NGF Kidswear Edition Opens in Mumbai with Over 630 Brands on Display

Buyer registrations rise over 25% as CMAI's kidswear sourcing fair highlights growth in India's children's apparel market
The 83rd National Garment Fair (NGF) – Kidswear edition, organised by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), has commenced at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (NESCO), Mumbai, bringing together manufacturers, brands, retailers and sourcing professionals from across the country.
The three-day exhibition, being held from 22 to 24 June 2026, spans more than 2.25 lakh sq. ft. of exhibition space and showcases an extensive range of products, including infantwear, toddlers' wear, juniors' wear, occasion and ethnic wear, casual wear, fashion apparel, accessories and allied categories.

According to CMAI, the event has registered an increase of over 25% in buyer registrations compared to the previous edition, indicating continued participation from retailers and trade buyers.
The fair was inaugurated by Dr. M. S. Asif Ali of Majestic Maharaja, Trichy (8 stores spanning 3,82,000 sq. ft. of retail space), Shri Akash Ranjit Nanjunda of Roop Sangam, Bengaluru (4 stores with 35,000 sq. ft. of retail space), and Shri Navin Tejpal Shah of Sagar, Mumbai (1 store with 5,000 sq. ft. of retail space), in the presence of CMAI office bearers, managing committee members and industry stakeholders.
Speaking at the inauguration, Dr. M. S. Asif Ali of Majestic Maharaja, Trichy, expressed, “Bombay is not just a city, it is a chapter of our growth story. Our relationship with Bombay goes back at the time we were a humble 500 Squarefeet store from Trichy. Trying to learn. Trying to grow. Bombay has given us a lot over the years. In our 90 years of our business legacy, we are privileged to honor our 60 years of association with CMAI. We have grown to 8 stores over the years and this is why platforms like NGF are so important. They are not merely trade fairs. They are a meeting ground for ambitions.”
The event serves as a sourcing platform for manufacturers, brands, retailers, distributors, wholesalers, e-commerce players and sourcing professionals from across India.

The exhibition features several kidswear brands, including Blazo, Trend Domain, Mikke House, Ruff, Danaboi, Deal, DS Yuvraaj, Napoleon, Zeelmil Art, Teddy Bear Kingdom, Lemonmint, Leo N Babes, Little Bull, Blueberry, Ollypop, Peppermint, Zola, Charchit, Gusto, Little Kangaroos, Vitamins, Ethni'ks Neu-Ron, Toffyhouse and Tadpole, among others.

Recognised as one of the largest biannual trade fairs in the Indian apparel industry, the 83rd edition of NGF aims to facilitate business interactions, support new partnerships and provide industry participants with insights into emerging trends in the kidswear market.

The organisers stated that the Kidswear edition offers buyers an opportunity to explore new product trends, establish business partnerships and engage with manufacturers across one of India's expanding apparel segments.
The Menswear & Womenswear edition of the 83rd NGF will be held from 13 to 15 July 2026. The Womenswear section will take place at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, while the Menswear section will be hosted at the MMRDA Ground, BKC, Mumbai. Together, the two segments will feature more than 800 exhibitors showcasing over 900 brands and are expected to attract approximately 50,000 retailers from across the country.
