Spanning nearly 7 lakh square feet, the event will bring together manufacturers, brands, and buyers to present new apparel collections and emerging industry trends across multiple segments.

The 82nd National Garment Fair will feature more than 1,085 brands across over 1,070 stalls, making it one of the most expansive editions of the event to date. Apparel collections covering men’s, women’s, and children’s wear will be showcased to retailers, e-commerce platforms, and trade buyers from across India, reinforcing NGF’s role as a key sourcing platform for the Spring–Summer season.

The opening ceremony will be attended by Shri Rohit Kansal, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, who will serve as the Chief Guest. Shri Ashish Kewalramani of Ashish NX, Nagpur, and Shri Ganesh Narayan Beria of Nagarmal Sheonarain & Sons, Arrah, Bihar, will join as Guests of Honour.

Organised as a biannual B2B trade fair, the 82nd NGF is expected to connect more than 1,000 exhibitors with over 20,000 retailers from across the country. The event has been designed to facilitate efficient sourcing, business networking, and collaboration across the apparel value chain. This edition also introduces a stall locator feature aimed at improving visitor navigation and brand discovery across the large exhibition space.

CMAI leadership highlighted the fair’s continued relevance in the evolving domestic apparel market. Santosh Katariya, President, CMAI, noted that domestic consumption remains a critical growth driver for the Indian apparel industry as it enters 2026, supported by rising demand for quality products and policy support. He stated that the 82nd NGF will reflect market-aligned trends and innovations suited to domestic consumers.

Commenting on the platform’s role, Rohit Munjal, Vice President and Chairman of the Fair Committee, CMAI, said the National Garment Fair continues to serve as a central meeting point for manufacturers, retailers, and designers. He added that the newly introduced navigation features are intended to enhance visitor experience and ease of engagement during the fair.

Rahul Mehta, Chief Mentor, CMAI, observed that NGF has evolved beyond a product showcase, reflecting broader shifts in consumer preferences, innovation, and long-term industry collaboration.

With its 82nd edition, the National Garment Fair continues to stand as India’s largest apparel sourcing event, supporting structured engagement, market access, and sustained growth within the garment and fashion ecosystem.
