8 Out Of 14 PLI Scheme Getting Delayed For Implementation; Says Report

According to a report by the analytics company CRISIL, the majority of the production-linked incentive schemes committed by the Center have been delayed in execution. CRISIL's research on Thursday observed that "incentives for complex industries under the PLI scheme, which was announced in April 2020 to give capital expenditure-linked incentives to 14 critical sectors, are likely to peak in fiscal 2026 due to delays in scheme implementation".
