60 Vendors, One Vision: Ajay Ajmera Brings Surat Textile Businesses to Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026

10,000-square-foot exhibition space will include a 4,000-square-foot Ajmera Pavilion featuring 60 textile vendors from Surat

Ajay Ajmera, Founder and CEO of Ajmera Fashion Ltd., is bringing together 60 textile vendors from Surat at Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026, scheduled from August 12 to 15, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The initiative is aimed at presenting Surat’s textile businesses and product categories at the multi-sectoral trade expo.

The event is jointly organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation and the Confederation of All India Traders and is built around the Swadeshi movement and the theme, “Made in India. Made for India. Made for the World.”

Ajmera to bring 60 Surat textile vendors together

As a Work Partner for Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026, Ajay Ajmera is putting together a 10,000-square-foot exhibition space, including a dedicated 4,000-square-foot area for the “Ajmera Pavilion.”

The pavilion will be used for the promotion and display of special premium fabrics and other innovations from Surat. The initiative represents an approach beyond conventional over-the-counter retail by bringing multiple textile businesses together within one exhibition space.

Vendors represent Surat’s textile ecosystem

The 60 exhibitors cover a range of product categories and include both established and emerging entrepreneurs. Women-led enterprises also form a significant part of the participating businesses.

Ajay Ajmera said, “Surat’s textile ecosystem relies heavily on grassroots entrepreneurship, but smaller manufacturers rarely secure the national exposure they deserve. The Ajmera Pavilion serves as a unified demonstration of our city’s industrial scale rather than just being a product showcase. We want national corporate buyers, institutional investors, and retail stakeholders to see the scale, diversity, and innovation driving our city’s factories.”

Connecting Surat manufacturers with buyers

The pavilion brings 60 independent suppliers together at a single location, creating a direct link between Surat’s apparel factories and buyers from across India.

The initiative is intended to help participating businesses connect with pan-India distribution chains and access new markets. It also corresponds with the objectives of Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026, which is a multi-sector, Swadeshi-focused manufacturing expo designed to help local businesses find buyers, establish domestic supply networks and expand sales into international markets.

Surat’s textile presence at Bharat Mandapam

The exhibition arrangements in Delhi are being finalised, with the Ajmera Pavilion bringing Surat’s textile vendors together on a common platform at Bharat Mandapam.

The pavilion will showcase the range of businesses within Surat’s textile ecosystem while providing a setting for potential business collaborations between manufacturers, buyers and other stakeholders attending Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026.
