The 58th edition of Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris ended on February 4 following three days of meetings at the Paris-Le-Bourget Exhibition Centre, bringing together 1,100 exhibitors. The event continued to serve international buyers, with participation levels comparable to the September edition, although slightly lower than in February 2025.

Organisers reported that the current session reflected changes in the apparel market, including shifts in economic conditions and distribution structures. French visitors accounted for 22% of total attendance, marking an increase from the previous edition. The United Kingdom followed with 9.4% of visitors, Italy with 6.5%, and Spain with 6.2%. The Netherlands and Germany each represented 4.1%, completing the six leading countries by visitor share.

Julien Schmoll, Marketing and Communication Director at Messe Frankfurt France, said: “The attendance at this edition reflects the market itself – more concentrated, but also more targeted – yet, beyond that, what clearly stands out is the quality of visitors and the intensity of the business discussions observed over these three days.”

Long-term partners of the show, including the China National Textile and Apparel Council (CCPITTEX), the Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI), and the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO), reported that exhibitors met qualified buyers and held business-oriented discussions.

Oracle Textile Technology, a Chinese producer of technical fabrics for down jackets working with more than 200 international brands, stated that the event enabled new contacts and discussions with European and American buyers. Huaren Linen reported that, in addition to existing customers such as Marks & Spencer and Monoprix, the company generated new business prospects during the exhibition.

Bangladesh-based Sara Fashionwear, which manufactures sportswear knitwear and finished products for European brands including Liu Jo, Sergio Tacchini, and Henry Cotton’s, indicated that around 10–15% of its contacts at this edition were new, particularly from Eastern Europe.

On the buyer side, companies focused on sourcing premium-quality materials at competitive prices and improving supply responsiveness. Céline Simon, Materials Manager at Gémo, said the company identified opportunities with Egyptian manufacturers for specific fabrics and also contacted accessories and trims suppliers.

Designer Lamine Badian Kouyaté, founder of XULY Bët, attended in search of finished knitwear manufacturers and noted the responsiveness of exhibitors. Discussions initially planned for the Autumn-Winter season were adjusted toward possible Summer deliveries.

Frédéric Bougeard, President of Messe Frankfurt France, said: “The evolution of sourcing practices, along with the growing focus on quality and suppliers’ ability to adapt, reflects the reality of a market that has become more demanding and more selective. In this context, Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris responds in a smart and agile way: we offer buyers a diverse and carefully curated selection, associated services, and immediately operational solutions – less volume, but more concrete projects. It is this ‘smart sourcing’ approach that now defines the show’s strength and relevance.”

The 59th edition of Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris will take place from Monday, August 31 to Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at the Paris-Le Bourget Exhibition Centre. The next edition will include the Avantex Paris sector, dedicated to solutions and technologies for sustainable fashion, with a focus on linking sourcing, innovation, and operational solutions for the industry.
