52 Applications Approved Under PLI Scheme for Textiles

The Government has approved 52 new applications under Round III of the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Textiles. The approvals cover multiple segments, including MMF apparel, MMF fabrics, and technical textiles. The scheme continues to support investment and production in high-value textile categories.
The Government has approved 52 new applications under Round III of the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Textiles. Of the total approvals, 05 applications are for MMF Apparel, 19 for MMF Fabrics, 18 for Technical Textiles, and 10 span multiple segments.
The approved applicants have committed a total investment of Rs.6708 crore, with an expected turnover of Rs.21,186 crore. The proposals are expected to contribute to manufacturing activity in the segments of Man-Made Fibre (MMF) fabrics, MMF apparel, and Technical Textiles.
The PLI Scheme for Textiles is an initiative of the Government of India aimed at encouraging production in high-value textile categories, attracting investment, and generating employment.
Data reported by participating companies under the scheme indicates an investment of ₹944.48 crore, turnover of ₹4,473 crore, and exports of ₹363.55 crore during the first three quarters of FY 2025-26.
