LONDON, 7 OCTOBER 2020: Fashion production software company, SupplyCompass, announces it will be hosting its next webinar exploring ‘Sustainability beyond the fabric’, on 22 October at 5pm BST. Together with global partners Oceanworks and Arch & Hook, SupplyCompass’s webinar will explore how fashion brands can embed sustainability into their company beyond textile choices, exploring the world of hangers, zips, buttons and yarn.

Arch & Hook, a sustainable hanger brand creating durable, quality-driven hangers, and Oceanworks, a global marketplace for recycled plastic materials, components and products, aim to create value from the eight million tons of plastic that end up in our
oceans every year, supercharging the circular economy.

In this webinar, Flora Davidson, Co-Founder of SupplyCompass, will explore with Rob Ianelli, Founder & President of Oceanworks, and Gertjan Meijer, CCO of Arch & Hook, the criticality of plastics in our oceans and how fashion brands can make use of innovation in this space to make more robust sustainable choices across their brand.

Flora Davidson, Co-Founder of SupplyCompass, says: “We’re huge advocators of transparency at SupplyCompass and want to do everything in our power to support the shift towards a circular economy. We know that as a fashion brand, it can be hard to know where to start in embedding sustainability, and it can be challenging when diving into the little details such as labels, trims and packaging. We’re looking forward to exploring this vital topic of marine plastics and identifying tangible solutions brands can implement for a more holistic approach to sustainability.”
