NCC Training AppDeveloped by CHL Softech, Launched by Defence MinisterShri Rajnath Singh

Summary: NCC Training App Developed by CHL Softech, IT solutions vertical of Crystal Hues, for Directorate General National Cadets Corps (DGNCC) was launched by Honorable Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh.

New Delhi, 31st August, 2020: The ongoing pandemic has forced everyone to implement new ways and strategies to move on with life whilst maintaining social distancing. To facilitate unhindered training of NCC cadets in alignment with Digital India campaign, the DGNCC Training App developed by CHL Softech was launched by the Honorable Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh.

With FairGaze supporting the development of the app as a CSR initiative, CHL Softech developed India’s 1st official NCC training app for Directorate General National Cadets Corps (DGNCC) that allows cadets to resume their training without flouting the social distancing rules.

The Honourable Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh interacted with NCC cadets via video conferencing during the launch event commending their contribution during in every crisis and the role played by them in nation building. The Defence Minister remarked that the training app will help overcome the difficulties posed by restrictions on direct physical interactions due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Sudheen M, President, Crystal Hues expressed delight at the major achievement by the company and said, “It is an honour to be part of the nation building initiative, which is the hallmark of NCC and the proud cadets.”

Speaking about the app, Abhay Singh, CEO of CHL Softech elaborated, “We created the app to provide complete online training solutions to NCC cadets. From syllabus and training videos to frequently asked questions, everything a cadet would need for their training is online on one

platform. Our focus has been to make the app user friendly.” He added that the app is available on Google Play store for Android users which crossed more than 50,000 downloads within few hours.

Ranju Pillai, Chief Relationship Officer of FairGaze, which supported the development of the app as its CSR initiative, congratulated CHL Softech for the feat and said, “The App will go a long way in building responsible citizens and a self-reliant India.”
