Egypt has faced a severe decline in the export of readymade garments. According to the report of Egypt’s Readymade Garments Export Council (RMGEC), last year they obtained around 806$ million through the export of readymade garment but this year they have fetched 614$ million through this export. There is a huge loss of 24 per cent this year. They mainly export their readymade garment to the US, EU and Arab countries.
