Suits – A perfection in men

Weather is a casual or a formal event , a coll or warm season or any occasion , a suit is perfect choice for a men . Is a classic fashion which will never fade and will continue with its legacy in future. For the remainder, suits are a necessary evil: an insurance policy for professional and social occasions that you want to spend the bare minimum on. They have been around for since the 17th century in one form or another. there’s nothing like a three-piece suit that can totally make you look sophisticated and suave at certain important events, like a formal dinner party, a wedding, an important official meeting and more. This attire is the formal version of the classic men’s suit and, in addition to the jacket, trousers, and shirt, it also consists of a waistcoat.

Lets get into detail by knowing from where it all started

The modern lounge suit appeared in the late 19th century, but traces its origins to the simplified, sartorial standard of dress established by the English king Charles II in the 17th century. And since then there are thousands of variation  has evolved and had changed the fashion life for men.

constructing a suit piece is very difficult and it contain a lot of work and time . It is said that a if one is perfect in making suit it means he/she is perfect at his/her job . with all the measurements and techniques ,a perfect suit piece is made

Types of suits

Men’s suits are outfits that help to instantly elevate your style to a whole new level. They help to flaunt your silhouette in a great way and make you look absolutely sophisticated and refined. There are a few types of suits that every man should own. These include the single-breasted suits, double-breasted suits and tuxedos

1. Tuxedo


Traditionally tuxedos have satin facing on the lapels, buttons, pocket trim, and a satin side stripe down the leg of the trousers. For occasions like a formal dinner party, a ball dance, or a friend’s wedding, you need to look your classy best! There are no attires as good as the tuxedos for you to sport one such look

2. single breasted suit

A single-breasted jacket is one that has only one column of buttons and a narrow overlap of fabric. These typically have two or three buttons and a notch lapel. hese help you exude a ‘smart-casual’ look at work or at a formal dinner party. Single breasted suits for men are very comfortable to wear and carry off. These are not as formal looking as the double-breasted variety and hence can be worn on a casual day of work to office as well.

Double breasted suit


Modern double-breasted jackets are narrow at the waist , sung arround the hip , wide around he soulder and are usually longer . It is mainly characterised by overlapping front laps and two symmetrical column of buttons ( mainly comes with 4 to 6 buttons ). If you are headed to an official event or an important client meeting, then the perfect outfit to wear is a double-breasted suit.

Tailcoat suit

                                     
A tailcoat suit is formal suit perfect for white tie events including weddings. Tailcoats, suit with tails or tailcoat tuxedo, call it the way you want and wear it as a groom or to the opera. Whenever white tie attire is required, wear your tailcoat.

 

Different ways of of wearing a suit
1. you can take a complete three piece look which is a perfect and a complete dressing.
                                           
2. you can put on the suit with or without tie according to the situation or event

3. carrying a bow tie around the neck with pant , shirt and blazer will give a royal and classy look to the person wearing
                               
4. one can also put on suspenders along with the suit and many more.

Suits in south Asia

after independence in India professional Indian men began wearing the five button Nehru suit, made from khadi to support the local textile industry. During the 1960s, these suits became fashionable among the British mod subculture due to their use by The Beatles.

Conclusion

Through ages there are lot of experiment has been done with suits silhouette ,colours, pattern, floral designs, and different and unique prints and textures which never made it a FAD .

suits will always be an evergreen fashion and will always win hearts around the world for an infinite period of time.
