11 Areas Covered In The 7th Round Of India-UK FTA Talks

The seventh round of negotiations for the India-UK free trade agreement (FTA) came to an end after 43 distinct sessions of technical talks between negotiators from the two sides here last month covering 11 different policy areas. The Department for Commerce and Trade did not provide any additional information on the policy areas discussed in an outcome statement issued on Monday, but it did clarify that the eighth round of negotiations is scheduled to take place in a few weeks. The seventh round of negotiations for an India-UK Free Trade Agreement was completed on February 10, 2023, according to the outcome announcement.
