The 10th edition of the India Machine Tools Show (IMTS), a leading biennial event for the capital goods and manufacturing sectors, began in New Delhi on Friday. Recognized as a critical industry platform, the show runs from 11–14 July 2025 and highlights the latest innovations in machine tools, automation, and engineering technologies from domestic and international exhibitors.

More than 300 exhibitors from 14 countries are showcasing over 2,500 advanced industrial products, with over 50,000 business visitors expected from 25+ nations. While machine tools and automation remain the focus, the event also features a diverse range of essential industrial products for shop-floor operations.

Participating countries include Germany, Japan, UK, USA, Italy, France, Netherlands, China, Taiwan, Korea, UAE, and Turkey, reflecting strong international representation.

At the inauguration, Amit Mistry, General Manager of K and D Communication, stated:

“The India Machine Tools Show has become one of the biggest exhibitions of machine tools, automation, and engineering machinery in the country. The machine tool industry’s growth is closely tied to India's automotive sector, poised to be the third-largest globally, contributing 12% to the nation’s GDP by 2025. Additional growth drivers include aerospace, defence, electronics, and precision engineering.

Featured product categories include:
